He has poor vision and hit his head on a chair the other day, so Citicoline is good for improving his vision and good for brain trauma.　 Although, AlphaGPC, which promotes growth, is also hard to throw away since he is growing. I give him both on different days.

Modafinil, citicholine, phenylpiracetam, and noopept that’s a great stack. I have taken so much and so many nootropics that for the most part it all seems unquantifiable! There’s no noticeable effect/difference. I’m playing with noopept freely now as I picked up a bulk of it. I stayed close to suggested dosages when taken in pill form, but I will go beyond that now and see where that goes. Take Modafinil for instance, I have that prescribed and I got it because everyone on these forums have said it’s the real deal. I have taken the least amounts and felt nothing and I’ve taken maximal dosages and felt the same nothing. Maybe it’s just me. The one nootropic that never fails me, and y’all might laugh, is Methylene Blue! It started my journey and is still with me to this day. It’s done a lot for me. More than any racetams or cortexin and even Cerebrolysine!! Felt nothing and noticed nothing from them! I did 10 days of 5ml a day of Cerebrolysine and nothing! But that lil blue powder does wonders for me, even if my brain is blue, who cares?

I bought this because my insurance won't pay for my ADHD meds and I can't afford the out of pocket cost anymore. I know that herbal supplements usually take at least a month until you start to notice any difference. I'm currently on day 2 of this and so far I'm not feeling any difference. I find that I am more cranky not less cranky but that could also be a dopamine detox from not taking my vyvanse. 🤷‍♀️

I tried Rhodiola (Pure brand) hoping for more energy. I did not feel more energetic and instead I felt "flat", almost like I was in a dream. I didn't like it. So, I'm going to try Ashwagandha and see if I have the opposite effect🙄

We, a parent and a child, have inattentive defects. We take brain function supplements along with vitamins and minerals on a daily basis. Alpha GPC, Citicoline, and Inositol, huperzine A, Acetylcarnitine, Gotukola, Ginkgo biloba, Rosemary. Of these, I find Dmae to be particularly helpful for concentration. DMAE and Ginkgo biloba seem to have similar effects, but DMAE seems to have a stronger effect. In terms of improving mood, I prefer Piperzine a No, Gotu Gola. Cholinergics (Alpha GPC, Citicoline) are good for feeling like the brain is being filled with nutrients. Each has its own good qualities, so I do them on a daily basis, taking safety into account. I tried dmae alone last week because it works so well, and it was fine. dmae makes the calm ones like us parents and children snappy, so it may be too strong for the normal or firm ones.

I’ve heard that some studies showed that Alpha GPC increases the risk of brain stroke. CDP Choline is safer.
